Sale Sharks' wingers Will Addison and Cameron Shepherd visited Trafford MV Rugby Club. The host club, based at Macpherson Park on Finny Bank Road, off Glebelands Road in Sale, are members of the Connections Scheme.
The two players walked around all the age groups, along with internationally famous mascot Sharky, and then watched the game between Trafford MV and a touring side from Mumbles RUFC.
Afterwards, they signed posters for the strong junior section at Trafford MV.
The players want to pass on their thanks to the organisers at Trafford MV. They were very well looked after, with tea and bacon sandwiches on offer.
The warmth of the hospitality contrasted starkly with the weather conditions, described by Australian Cameron as 'Arctic'!
