Sale Sharks' Michael Paterson has won the Gatorade Game Changer Award for April following his display against Exeter Chiefs.
The Game Changer rewards the player responsible for the most effective single performance each month, according to the Opta statistics.
Paterson's Sale side made light work of their trip to Sandy Park, registering eight tries in a commanding 55-12 win.
In attack, Paterson touched down for a try in addition to making 60 meters from 18 carries, beating eight defenders along the way. The lock was equally strong in defence, making eight tackles across the 80 minutes.
Paterson said: "The team have traditionally found it tough at Exeter so to come away with such a positive result is really pleasing.
"I was happy with my performance so it's great to be recognised for the Gatorade Game Changer award."
Each of the monthly Game Changer winners will be competing for the Game Changer of the Season Award which is announced in May. Last year's big prize was won by Harlequins' Ollie Lindsay Hague.
Michael Paterson is also nominated for Green Flag's Forward of the Season Award. After a terrific season, it is great to see Pato getting the recognition he deserves.
Steve Diamond admits he was pleased with the side's victory in the Kings of the North competition, but admits there are things to work on heading into the Aviva Premiership opener against Saracens next weekend.
A free Fanzone for the Rugby World Cup 2015 is set to take over Albert Square this weekend (Friday 9 - Sunday 11 October) - boasting big screens showing all eight international matches along with a host of rugby activities, live entertainment and food and drink.
