Biog Lee is another of the young guns in the Sale ranks to have been an England international through the age groups, representing his country at Under-16, Under-18 and Under-20 level. Educated at Sandbach School and Myerscough College, he was a No 8 until his U16 international call when he switched to his current position. Lee first featured in the matchday squad for the Heineken Cup match with Toulouse in 2009/10 - an experience he described as a "real confidence-booster" - and before the campaign was out had made his debut and played his first full 80 minutes in the Premiership. But last season was a real breakthrough campaign as he made 15 league appearances and was rewarded with a contract extension by new boss Steve Diamond. |
