The Sharks' 2008/09 Breakthrough Player of the Year, Marc has built on that platform with upwards of 20 first-team appearances in each of the last two seasons. A Wales international throughout the age groups from Under-16 up to Under-21, Marc is primarily a No 2 but like fellow Jets graduate Neil Briggs he has also played at seven when needed for both club and his country's age group teams. A spell at Sedgley Tigers in 2006/7 enabled him to gain first-team experience and though he made just five appearances for the Sharks the following season his development was clear and it was inevitable he would make his breakthrough, 19 appearances three seasons ago backed up impressively by his efforts in the last two years.
