While the roadworks are being finalised to build a new direct access to the ground from the Trafford Centre area we advise supporters to make every effort to arrive at least two hours prior to kick-off and enjoy our pre-match entertainment.
Parking at the Stadium
Please note the car park at the stadium has limited space available and bookings can be made by phoning 0161 786 1574. There may be spaces available on the day but to make sure, please pre-book. Any spaces on the day cost £10 each (cash only, no cards). Post game, the car parks are emptied in rotation game by game. You can also buy online
We will be operating one large capacity bus for this game. It must be pre-booked by 5pm on Thursday before the game. Only supporters who pre-book will be allowed on the bus. The driver will have a full list of those who have booked to check names.
Leaves Edgeley Mercian Way (Telescope Shop) 12-45pm
Leaves Stockport Railway Station (Rear Entrance) 12-55pm
Leaves Parrswood Outside Cinema 1-10 pm
The coach returns from the stadium 30 minutes after final whistle.
Fare on this service is £6 return.

Park & Ride from the Trafford Centre
We will be operating a shuttle bus services from Stand 4 of the Trafford Centre Bus Station at the following times.
11-45am, 12-30pm, 1-15pm
There is parking for several thousand cars at the Trafford Centre and the bus station is next to the front entrance of Debenhams. Parking at the Trafford Centre is FREE. Please note we are now supplying an earlier bus at 11-45am.
Returning post game:
The first bus will leave 30 minutes after the final whistle and make its journey to the Trafford Centre. It will then return at least once to make a further pick up.
There is no booking required for this bus service; however these will be on a first come first serve basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. THIS SERVICE IS FREE OF CHARGE. These buses will drop you off within the stadium grounds.
If you are parking at the Trafford Centre you may wish to visit the shops and cafés. We have arranged discounts with various outlets in the Trafford Centre. Please have a look at those agreeing to discounts here. Please take code number iTCsalesharks to Customer Information in the main dome and you will be given a booklet of discount vouchers. Please note these can only be used on the day of the game.
Travelling by Bus
To help plan your journey please visit the bus website timetables for Greater Manchester. Please note these are public bus services and not operated by Sale Sharks.
Number 100 operates the following service travels along the A57 calls at the Trafford Centre Bus Station. Click here to see the timetable.
This bus service will drop you off on the A57, the stadium is a 5 minute walk.
Number 67 operates from Cadishead to Shudehill train station. The route takes in Irlam Railway Station. Click here to see the timetable.
There are also bus services that operate between Shudehill, Eccles and the Stadium, these drop off and pick up on Liverpool Road (A57).
Trains from Piccadilly and Victoria stop at Irlam & Eccles.

Travelling by Train
If you are travelling by Train, our nearest Train Stations with bus connections to the stadium are:
Irlam, Patricroft and Eccles.
Irlam Train Station
You can travel to Irlam Train Station from the following departure stations - Stockport, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road. Once you arrive at Irlam the 100 bus picks up and drops off on Liverpool Road, five minutes walk from the stadium
From Eccles train station walk across the road to Eccles Interchange Bus Station and catch the number 67 bus.
If you arrive at Patricroft Station walk to the A57 and the bus service number 100 will take you to Liverpool Road near the stadium. This bus leaves Patricroft and journeys to the stadium via the Trafford Centre
If you are travelling by Metrolink, our nearest Metrolink station is Eccles. The Metrolink runs every 12 minutes from Manchester city centre to Eccles.
On arrival at Eccles Metrolink, cross the road to Eccles Interchange Bus Station and catch the Number 67 bus to the stadium.
Metrolink services run from Eccles to Manchester every 12 minutes until 1.08am
To travel from Sale to Eccles via Metrolink, passengers should change lines at Cornbrook.

Cycling to the AJ Bell Staduim
If you choose to cycle to A J Bell Stadium there are 12 bike racks located outside the main west stand. Bikes can be chained to these are the owners own risk.
Motorcycles at the AJ Bell Stadium
There is a dedicated motorcycle parking area within the main west stand car park. There is no charge for parking of motorcycles at the stadium.

As well as stadium parking, there are various car parks in the surrounding areas:
Barton Airport, Liverpool Road, M30 7SA - www.cityairportandheliport.com
Located on the A57 (across from the stadium), Barton Airport offers approximately 500 parking spaces. These are charged at £5 per person and payable by cash on the day. The stadium is approximately 10 minutes walk. You will also find Runway 26 at the airport which is a clubhouse, fully licensed and selling snacks. Please take care crossing the busy A57.
The Unicorn Pub, Liverpool Road, M30 7BY - Located on Liverpool Road, (A57 Eccles End), the unicorn pub offers limited match day parking at £5 per car, cash payable on the day. The stadium is approximately 15 minutes walk away
Eccles ARLFC have monitored parking available for about 100 cars. The postcode is M30 7LS, and is just a couple of minutes from the M60 junction 11, 15 minutes walk from the AJ Bell Stadium. The charge is £3 per car.
The Barley Farm Pub/Restaurant opens this week. The Pub is situated at the traffic lights where Stadium Way meets the A57. The pub has parking for 100 cars and full details can be found on http://www.farmhouseinns.co.uk/
There may be occasions when car park access and egress is disrupted or delayed by circumstances beyond the control of the Stadium Company, such as busy trading days at the Intu (Trafford) Centre and localised heavy traffic due to roadworks or RTA's, please be assured that our car park staff will do their utmost to minimise delays.
