Touch Rugby
Sale Sharks will be running Touch Rugby leagues throughout the summer with the RFU and In2Touch in the North West.
The venues will be Trafford MV Rugby Club on Mondays and, the return of the ever popular, Didsbury TOC H Rugby Club on Wednesdays running from the week of Monday 10th May 2010 through to July.
To register for the touch rugby leagues in Manchester or Trafford, as an individual or a team go to www.in2touch.co.uk and select the venue. Each team will receive 12 playing shirts, a team ball, 10 weeks of touch rugby and 12 match tickets to see Sale Sharks.
If you also want to try out touch rugby before hand you could play at Longford Park free to get a taste for it. Details below.
Touch Rugby In The Park
Perhaps you enjoyed watching the touch rugby demo game at half time during the Newcastle match and are now tempted to give it a go... pop along to Longford Park in Stretford on a Saturday morning, 11am*. Touch Rugby In The Park is a great way to play for fun and enjoy the game. The group is mixed men and women and you are very welcome to come along even if you have never touched a rugby ball before. It is free and no weekly commitment is needed.
