Sale Sharks Golf Day
The competition for places amongst the Sale Sharks squad doesn’t get any easier during the off-season. However, the size and shape of the ball does change slightly as the players team up each year, usually in July, with corporate guests of the club at the Sale Sharks Annual Golf Day at the Tytherington Club Championship Golf Course near Macclesfield, Cheshire.
There are some very good golfers within the Sharks’ squad with at least ten players carrying official handicaps. Included in that group is the Premiership’s all-time leading points scorer Charlie Hodgson, England international Mark Cueto, and Wales scrum half Dwayne Peel. Sean Cox is also a very good performer round the course.
We'll soon be making arrangements for the 2011 Tournament, so watch out for details!
