Commenting on his move, the former England U20 international said, "I am excited to be coming to Leeds Carnegie for the season. The chance to play week to week rugby in the Championship is a great opportunity for me and one that I want to make the most of. There were obviously a number of the Sharks lads who were here last season and I spoke to them and they had nothing but good things to say about the club.
"I don't know too much about the Championship but I know there are some tough front rowers in this competition and I am looking forward to testing myself against them. Leeds have got a very talented squad, especially in the front row, and I know I will need to be performing at my best in every training session and game to keep my spot but that is a good position to be in," added Imiolek.
Commenting on the signing, Director of Rugby Chris Gibson said, "We are delighted to bring Lee to the club and grateful to Sale Sharks for allowing the move to come about. Our partnership with the Sharks proved beneficial for us both last season and we are pleased to continue it. Lee has shown his quality with Sale in the Premiership and he will add to our front row options for the season."
