Carol Pass from Eccles RUFC said, "We offer our young people the chance to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award. We currently have 45 young people taking part across the medals - Bronze, Silver and Gold.
"To ensure that cost isn't a barrier for our young people, we need to raise money to cover the costs of the expeditions, equipment, skills training, and volunteering. We have young people who are working with a Drama teacher to produce a workshop on safe use of alcohol and saying "No!" to drugs.
"This will be extended across the Greater Manchester area. We have four young men who are going away for five days to complete a basic expedition leadership course which will enable them to mentor the Bronze group.
"The car parking money will provide much needed funds to ensure our young people can complete their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
"Thank You for your support. We have 80 car parking spaces - book early to avoid disappointment.
