At their Junior Registration Day, Eccleshall RUFC were visited by Cameron Shepherd and Andrei Ostrikov, Community Rugby Development Officer Rick Spencer and our famous No.24 Sharky. Cameron and Andrei spent time chatting to all the age groups, starting with the Junior Colts, as they were off to their first fixture this season at Burnley.

Eccleshall RUFC are a member of the Sharks Community Connections Partnership, and as one of the first organisations to have their appearance this season, they also qualified for the opportunity to bring a group into one of our first three home games at a reduced price.

After the visit, Becky Davies, Junior Chairman, said, "Please pass on my sincere thanks to Rick, Cameron and Andrei for being part of our Junior Registration Day yesterday. They were all superb ambassadors for the sport and an absolute credit to Sale Sharks!

"I didn't spend all morning with Rick and the players, because I had to leave to watch our first Colts Fixture of the season, which we won 52-0 away at Burnley. It must have been due to Cameron's team talk before we left!.

"Once again many thanks for making the day so memorable for our players and supporters - I really hope it is something we can repeat in the future!"
