Danny McNicholl, Chairman of Lymm RFC, was presented with a cheque for £413 on the Salford City Stadium pitch at half time during the Sale Sharks v. Leicester Tigers Aviva Premiership game. Lymm RFC hosted a Sale Sharks rugby camp earlier this year at their Crouchley Lane ground.

Danny received complimentary tickets to the game against the Tigers and was invited onto the pitch for a photo with Sharks winger Tom Brady and club mascot Sharky.

Danny said that the funds would be put towards new floodlighting at the club on the original top pitch, now used for training and Mini and Junior matches. The new floodlighting will dramatically improve the evening training environment.

Lymm's first fifteen plays at level 5 in the National League 3 (North). The club fields three other senior teams and junior teams ranging from Under 7's to Under 19's.
