There was some real stand out performances for me. Mark Jennings did a great job in his first game. He carried the ball back and made metres every time and always looked a handful with the ball in hand. The forwards were quality with big ball carries from The Fridge and Big Tony. Richie Gray dominated the line out. And Robbie Miller stepping up to slot that conversion and crucial penalty to win the game, showed nerves of steel and true class.
To come from so far behind and show the character and determination to defend (for what felt like an hour!) in the final minute of the game, when Cardiff went through about 15 phases, the lads just kept hitting them back and had them pinned in their own 22. Eventually Jamie Roberts was forced into touch to end the game.

It was important for us to put in a performance and get a result like that for the fans, as well as oursleves. We all value the support the fans give week in, week out. We understand and fully appreciate that we have let you down massively over the past few weeks. But with that win at the weekend and the confidence we can gain from it, we can now crack on and get the results we need to climb back up the table and in turn, give you plenty to enjoy and shout about!
