Here's Jason Robinson, Mark Cueto & Tom Leader talking on stage!
HITZ Sale Sharks held its first ever Business Breakfast yesterday at Manchester Escalator which was a huge success!
Over 75 guests attended the event where they heard from HITZ Sale Sharks Manager Tom Leader, learners from the HITZ project and from special guests Mark Cueto & Jason Robinson speaking about what the HITZ Project is all about and what they could do to help contribute to it.
There was then a chance to network and a chance for the guests to speak to the HITZ officers representing the projects in Manchester, Rochdale, Bolton and Carrington and also to speak to some of the youngsters who are on the project.
Tom said afterwards: "It was a fantastic morning. Hosting the HITZ Business Breakfast will hopefully develop and open up opportunities for the young people which is great. I just want to pass my thanks on to Mark and Jason who took time out of their busy schedules to come down and speak to the guests about their involvement in the project. It really is an exciting upcoming year for the HITZ Sale Sharks Project in the area and we look forward to working with many of the business' and organisations who came along to support the event."
Jason Robinson said: "I get young people where they're at, I know the challenges that they face though it's also important to get alongside them, to try and inspire them, encourage them and help them get into training. If you can do that, then you can change lives and that's what the programme's doing."
