The students from Mersey Drive with their certificates after completing the Something to Chew On Programme
The Sharks Community Trust Coaches have been busy once more and have just finished a Something To Chew On Programme at Mersey Drive.
Over the last month, our Sharks Community Coaches have travelled to the school to teach the children about healthy eating and tag rugby.
A teacher at the school said: "The children became more confident in the skills involved in the playing of tag rugby. Thank you very much for coming along and we'd recommend it to everyone."
Something to Chew On is a programme run in association with Public Health England and, BT Sport's The Supporters Club and it is an interactive project aimed at teaching 7-8 year olds about their own health and well being with a rugby focus.
Here's one of our coaches teaching the children about healthy eating!
