How To Get There
The nearest motorway is the M5, however, there is no matchday parking at the stadium for supporters but plenty of public transport options. There is a couple of park and ride options which cost £5.00 per car with FREE shuttle buses on a regular basis. There are buses running regularly (every 15 minutes) from St David's Town Centre Bus Station at a cost of £2.00 one way or £3.50 return. Return buses ran every half hour from Sandy Park.
There are regular trains that run past the stadium and it is only a 10 minute walk from Digby and Sowton Station to Sandy Park.
What to do Before and After the Game
There are plenty of pubs and bars located around the city centre.
The Ship Inn on Martin Lane near the Cathedral is a nice traditional pub, a Good choice for real ale and cider fans.
The Imperial is a large Wetherspoons pub located behind the St.Davids Station Premier Inn.
The historic quayside area of Exeter, has a range of pubs and bars for those who like to have a drink by the water.
At The Ground
At the front of the stadium there are various food and drink outlets, which sell food at reasonable prices.
There is a ticket sales booth where you can purchase tickets prior to the game and there are people selling match programmes for £3. There are turnstiles at 3 corners of the ground (North, South and East)
Why not make a Weekend of it?
There are several places to stay in Exeter, including a Premier Inn at St Davids station. The Abode and Mercure hotels offer a more expensive option. There is a Travelodge closer to the ground at the services of Junction 30 of the M5. But if you choose this option you are away from the bars and restaurants in town.
Between October and May Exeter Racecourse is open so you can go along and enjoy a good day at the races. If you prefer more of a quiet weekend you could venture down to Devon or Cornwall.
If you like your history your could also take a guided tour around some of Exeter's prime attractions like the Gothic Cathedral all you need to do is to go to the Quay house Visitor Centre which is just across the river.
