Sharks Welcome Worcester to Salford City Stadium

Richard Hill's team lie four places above Sale Sharks and are scoring a higher number of tries this season. Their captain is former Sharks skipper Dean Schofield, with another, ex-Sale man, Chris Jones, in the squad. Behind their formidable pack, are the deadly boot of ex-Tiger, Andy Goode and the lightning fast threat of winger, David Lemi.

Sale Sharks are keen to gain revenge for their 23-16 reverse on October, when, despite a constant bombardment of the home whitewash for the final ten minutes of the game, the Warriors defended well and held out. On our away defeat, Sharks second row, James Gaskell, said:

"We felt very frustrated at Sixways in October. We felt we were worthy of at least a draw if not a win. This game is a chance to right wrongs and hopefully move us four or five points up the table."
