One player looking forward to Sunday's Aviva Premiership game at the Kassam Stadium is Sale Sharks winger Mark Cueto.
Sharks have played twice at the Kassam in the last eleven years and each occasion they lifted the European Challenge Cup (2002 + 2005). The 2002 victory saw the club win their first piece of major silverware in their then 141 year history.
Mark created his own piece of history last Friday when his second half try (his 76th) beat Steve Hanley's nine year record in the Premiership.
Mark said, "Both of those finals were special. The win over Pontypridd was at the end of my first season at the club and the second win against Pau was just before I travelled with the British Lions to New Zealand."
Talking about his time at Sale Sharks and beating Steve Hanley's record Mark said, "I remember my first try at Bristol back in 2001, Jason Robinson put me in with a pass. Another try I will always remember was in the same season away to Wasps when they played at Loftus Road, and I have to include the one in the Premiership Final in 2006 when I scored in the corner. Charlie put in a cross field kick and I went for it with Geordan Murphy. I back healed it and then dived on it!"
On last Friday's victory over Exeter Mark said, " "The confidence and belief was there and we have now won three games on the bounce, and qualified for a semi final.
"If we can forget about what happened in the first part of this season we've got to take the confidence and belief from those three consecutive wins to our game at the Kassam. It won't be easy though as Welsh are not a bad side and will, like us be targeting this as a must win game."
