The SSSC were delighted to invite two members of our charity partner, the West Coast Crash Wheelchair Rugby Club to the dinner. The only representative from our region in the national wheelchair rugby league and based at the regional spinal injuries unit in Southport, the charity stresses the importance of sport in rehabilitation and provides sporting opportunity to people with a disability. West Coast Crash coach Chris Ellis accepted a donation of £1000 on the night made up of £500 from the SSSC and generously matched by a £500 donation from MBNA.
