Between the 8th - 10th April, coaches Darren, Jack, Andy and Simon held a rugby camp at Crewe and Nantwich RUFC alongside ex-England international Hendre Fourie. The team provided expert coaching throughout the three days on themes thought up by the Community Trust.
The main aim of the camp was to increase skill levels of all the players attending in order to help them to improve their rugby abilities.
The 6-15 year olds were joined by Sharks players Viliami Fihaki and Kirill Kulemin, who went along to Crewe and continued the Community coaching staff's main aim to develop the young players core rugby skills with game sense activities and a quiz.
During the quiz, participants commented on how much they'd learnt about Sale Sharks from answering the questions. The players in attendance also provided the aspiring rugby players with great role models to look up to in the Rugby Union world, and we hope that they continue to develop their rugby skills further as they grow, in order to one day become a Shark!
The Community Coaches and Hendre are back in action this week at Lymm RUFC delivering another rugby camp, which is sure to be a success. Let us know if you're attending by contacting the Trust's Twitter page on @SharksCommunity.
