The race, which is part of a family fun day at Spinningfields, sees thousands of families every year watching their rubber ducks race along the Spinningfields stretch of the River Irwell.
It costs just £1 to enter a duck into the race, which is due to begin at approximately 2pm on Good Friday. Proceeds go toward Sharks Community Trust's charity partner Brainwave, a local children's charity.
With the Bank Holiday weekend beginning, this is a great opportunity to take the family on a different kind of day out, and it is completely free to attend.
While ducks are sold out online, they will be available on the day from various kiosks around Spinningfields.
As well as the Duck Race, there are plenty of other activities going on on the day, including a screening of 'Mighty Ducks' on The Lawns 'Screenfields', fun inflatables such as a bouncy castle and a slide, an activity craft tent, hook-a-duck, cups and saucers and a giant tombola.
Food will also be available at varioous food vans and restaurants on site.
