Spinningfields, one of the city's most popular districts, is set to be emblazoned on Sale Sharks' shirts for a second successive season.
Capital Properties has renewed its sponsorshipdeal with Sale Sharks for the 2013-14 season, which will see both the Spinningfields logo on the home and away shirts and the Capital Propertieslogo on the Sale Sharks' home and away shorts for all pre-season friendly, Aviva Premiership, Amlin Challenge Cup and LV= Cup matches.
Based in Manchester, Capital Properties specialises in managing large mixed-use estates, with the ultimate aim of transforming them into a community with a strong identity and sense of place.
Developed by Allied London and managed by Capital Properties, Spinningfields combines world-class architecture and contemporary public space, with a vitality that comes from its exciting mix of offices, retail, restaurants, bars and living space. The award winning scheme hosts some of Manchester's biggest calendar events, including outdoor summer cinema Screenfields, in association with Stella Artois, and Manchester's Christmas ice rink.
Following a number of friendlies throughout August, the Aviva Premiership is now underway, with Sale's first game of the season taking place last Saturday away at Gloucester, with Sharks racking up their four points of the campaign, beating the home team 22-16. Their first home game takes place this Friday at 8pm against Newcastle Falcons.
