He said that everyone is really good and settling well, and that it was a superb Christmas present for him and his family. There was never any doubt for him playing against Oyonnax though: "I've not played a huge amount recently for one reason or another - it was my first 80 minutes in 5 weeks so I needed to get a game under my belt ahead of a crucial game against Irish."
Mark scored the crucial fourth try before half-time and he admitted that he was feeling the pace: "A few minutes before the try, Rob Miller made a break and I felt like I had the hand break on - I couldn't get anywhere near him! I got to the pass but felt like I had nothing in my legs! I just seemed to do well to finish it off - bit of running in and out to beat the defenders as well, I felt like I was rolling back the clock to the good old days!
He added: "If you get in front in games like this, it can be an easier night. They didn't really have much of a sniff - they are a good Top 14 team, very good at home and it was a tough game away and we wanted to win tonight to take control of the group and now we have put ourselves in a great position ahead of January."
"It's knock out rugby once you get past the pool stages and that's great for the fans and great for the club!"
He also praised his team-mate Danny Cipriani for his man-of-the-match performance saying if he keeps performing like this it will be hard for England to ignore him: "We all know what Danny Cipriani can do, he is a maverick and will try things other people won't try and in the past that has gone against him. He has really got his head down over the summer and it is reaped rewards on the field!"
