The evening was attended by proud cadets and sergeants, mums, dads, siblings, and of course the fantastic officers. Guest of honour for the evening was Squadron Leader Hadfield (RTD) who donated a print of a Spitfire Aircraft signed by the pilot and artist to the squadron.
Flight Lieutenant Ian Wilson co-ordinated the proceedings, with help from Sergeant Simon Rowland and Warrant Officer Dave Cooper.
Community Events Co-ordinator for Sharks Community Trust, Helen Stuart, was also presented with the squadron's plaque bearing their motto 'Rise from the East'.
After the ceremonials, Nathan and Mike chatted to some of the award winners, signed posters and posed for photographs.
The squadron have a partnership with Sale Sharks, which includes a player appearance, as well as an Adult and Junior Season Ticket and signed shirt - the winner of which at auction was Mr and Mrs Betts and Cadet Williamson.
Look out for the squadron at the Sale Sharks v Saracens match on 14th February 2014, where they will be the Guard of Honour for the team.
