Sale Sharks are delighted with the season ticket sales for next season. With the new pricing structure in place many have moved from standing season tickets to a place in the West and East Stands and there has been a terrific take up for the free junior tickets.
Sale Sharks have moved their kick off time from Friday evening to Saturday afternoons at 2pm. This will allow supporters to make the trip easier than on a Friday evening. The road infrastructure is improving too with the introduction of traffic lights at the Peel Green Roundabout and this was tested fully at the Leicester game where the biggest crowd of the season reported no problems getting to and from the stadium.
With the early bird rush at an end we have held full audit of the seating plan and there are still some excellent seats available on or near the half way line in both the West and East Stands. Seats for Adults cost £330, Concessions £240, Juniors (aged 12-16) £165 and Juniors up to age 12 are FREE if accompanied by an adult (Maximum 2 per adult). We have also introduced a Direct Debit Scheme to help you spread the cost. If you would like details please call 08444-994-994 or if you would like us to call you, please email your name and phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org .
We are delighted to announce our "Try Rugby Package" - this is your chance for a three game season ticket taster! You can come down to the AJ Bell Stadium and watch our last three Aviva Premiership home games against Gloucester, Harlequins and Newcastle Falcons and save up to £30 per ticket!
Mark Cueto has today announced that he will retire from playing at the end of the current season. Mark is currently the All-Time Leading Try Scorer in the Aviva Premiership with 87 tries having overtaken former team mate Steve Hanley's record of 75 tries in February 2013.
Despite trailing by three points at the interval, Sale Sharks European Cup campaign ended at Thomond Park to a Munster side who were desperate to finish on a winning note after failing to qualify for the Quarter Finals.
Sale Sharks' European campaign this season has been a case of what might have been but back-row forward Mark Easter insists he and his teammates can hold their heads high even if it ends without a win.
Danny Cipriani has been called up to the England EPS Squad ahead of this season's Six Nations, and Ross Harrison has been called up for the England Saxons squad for their match against Irish Wolfhounds on Friday 30th January.
