Players are starting to arrive back at Carrington ahead of the new season. Yesterday Nathan Hines and Darren Fearn arrived to meet up with Head of Performance Adam Grainger.
Club Captain Dan Braid is also in every day stepping up his rehabilitation following minor knee surgery that kept him out of the last few games. Dan is buoyant after the All Blacks win over England last weekend and believes the remaining tests will be full blooded affairs with New Zealand keen to step up their game and England capable of pushing them all the way. On hearing the news about the European Rugby Champions Cup draw against Saracens, Munster and Clermont Dan said, "It's an exciting prospect to be pitched against these clubs and playing intense games like these are what every professional player wants."
Will Addison who was injured in the narrow defeat to Saracens last November has been a regular visitor to Carrington for his rehabilitation and he is expected to be fit for the start of the new season.
The remaining players, not on international duty, return to training next Friday the 20th June.
