Sale Sharks were visited by an ITV camera crew this morning at the Carrington Training Base, filming a documentary about Coconut Oil benefits for sportsmen. Nathan Hines, David Seymour, Eifion Roberts and Ross Harrison all featured as did Chef Paul Garner and Head of Performance Adam Grainger. The camera crew filmed training and the players eating in the canteen. The filmed piece will feature in the ITV programme 'Tonight' on Thursday 21st August at 7-30pm.
Michael Paterson was described by Steve Diamond as the key addition to the squad and seemed to be right in doing so. Michael mentioned it was a proud moment to see his name in the Aviva Premiership team of the year further adding to the outstanding season that Sale had enjoyed.
Having only started playing the game at school, it has become apparent that Ross Harrison is becoming the rising star for the Sharks squad. Having stated he was lucky to be where he is today, his passion and desire to succeed shone through as he continues to progress.
