Coaches of the Sharks Community Trust kicked off the Summer Camp season this week with a 3 day Premiership Rugby Academy skills camp at the Sharks' Carrington training ground with over 100 kids in attendance.
The camp focused on the players being able to pick up single skills and being able to translate them into live match situations. All the players left the camp after learning something new, hearing about the life of a professional rugby player after a Q&A with Hendre Fourie, a free ticket to a Sale Sharks match and a Sale Sharks water bottle. The camp was rounded up on Thursday with a visit from Sharky and a huge group photo with all the participants.
From Mark Smith @spiketheatre; A big thank you to @SharksCommunity Gabe had a fantastic 3 days at camp. I would recommend it to any parents with rugby playing kids. #class
