Speaking ahead of Saturday's game against Leicester Tigers, Sale captain Josh Beaumont, who leads the Premiership with line out wins and is one of the best current ball carriers in the Premiership has said concentration will be vital if his side are to get a result.
The Sharks last outing saw them draw 34-all against Worcester Warriors at Sixways, but Beaumont insists his team are ready to step up against the Tigers.
"We've really got to focus, both as a team and individually," he said.
"We need to concentrate on getting the basics right. We know in this league that errors turn in to points against you, so we just need to look at our discipline and focus on our own roles."
Sale lost 26-13 to Gloucester in their last match at the AJ Bell Stadium, but the 23-year-old insists that many of the problems in that game were rectified against Worcester.
"We didn't really control the game against Gloucester, but it's something we've looked at and we want to regain the home form we enjoyed last season, starting this weekend."
But the Tigers are coming off of the back of a big win against Bath last weekend, and have won three of their opening four Premiership games and are unbeaten on the road, but the Captain is confident that Sale can pose their visitors a problem.
"We know the threat that Leicester pose. They're big, and they're well established in the league, so it's going to be tough, but we need to concentrate on ourselves.
Speaking about the team's preparations ahead of Saturday, Beaumont said: "We need to be consistent in everything we do and if we do that, hopefully the results will look after themselves."
