Wasps were quickly on the board through full back Watson, followed by a driving lineout score, finished by Collett and converted by Umaga. James notched the Wasps' third try on 22 minutes, Umaga again converting, and Armitage sealed the home side's try bonus point three minutes later with another converted score
Asiedu claimed the fifth try, before Hampson scored the hosts' sixth.
Powerful winger Jone Mana Nabetelevu, last seen in a Sale shirt on Sevens' duty, put the Jets on the board shortly before the break, which arrived with Wasps 38-5 ahead.
Smith, Gray and TJ Harris scored second half tries before Nabetelevu reacted fastest to dot down a loose ball for the Jets' second try, converted by Charlie Reed. James, Ogrhe and Umaga rounded off the evening's try scoring, with visibility severely reduced.
Not for the first time this season, the composition of 'A' League teams comes under scrutiny. Wasps had players with first-team experience and representatives from Coventry (3), North Harbour, Nottingham, Nottingham University, London Scottish/Army, Broadstreet, Leeds Beckett University and Bishop Burton College in their squad. The Jets were predominantly from Manchester Metropolitan University, with Coventry, Otley and Macclesfield representatives turning out. There were thirteen registered Wasps in their lineup: the Jets had no players from their 'books' playing in the game.
The fixture has been fulfilled and despite the scoreline, The Jets, with 35% possession, played their part in an entertaining game.
