A BIG THANK YOU from Steve Hanley

First of all I would like to thank everyone involved in what has been a very successful, emotional and thoroughly enjoyable testimonial year. The Sharks supporters have been amazing showing your support when at first I announced my retirement and also at every event during the year.

The year on a personal note this has been my way of celebrating and looking back on my career which was cut short due to an injury, I had forgotten a lot that happened over my 10yrs at Sale so the year has brought back memories that will never be forgotten.

There have been so many highlights but the game on Saturday will live long in my memory, it was so nice to see smiling faces all day back at our spiritual home, the group of players we had on the pitch was quite amazing and im sure you will agree not a bad game of rugby

I am hoping we can make this an annual event as we have quite a few testimonials coming up in the future.

I'm also looking to put a brochure of the day together so I can look back in years to come, if anyone has any photos of the day they could maybe put onto disk and send into Swanny (dave.swanton@salesharks.com) I would be forever grateful.
