Sale Sharks fearless flanker, Carl Fearns, has been selected by supporters as Malmaison’s Player of the Month for January with 41% of the vote. An impressive 6,789 fans voted for Malmaison Player of the Month online at salesharks.com!

Carl’s tackling record, explosive speed and good handling skills in the back row contributed to him being named Mamaison's Player of the Month.

Carl’s efforts on the pitch will be rewarded with a meal for two in the Mal Bistro at the Malmaison Manchester.

Sale Sharks supports voted online at Sharky’s Think Tank on the Sale Sharks’ homepage at www.salesharks.com for Malmaison’s Player of the Month, nominated by Shark’s coaches.

Sharks’ big prop Martin Halsall was the supporters second choice getting 36% of the vote, while young lock James Gaskell came third and England start Mathew Tait followed closely behind.
