Confident that playing on home soil helps boost the team’s performance, Director of Rugby, Kingsley Jones commented, "We have Leeds this Friday at home and we fancy ourselves against anyone at home."

Sale Sharks are desperate to put their defeat in the LV= Cup right at this Friday’s home match against Leeds Carnegie, kick off 7.45PM.

Analysing the competition Jones admitted, "We're in a very tough pool with the likes of Ospreys, Leicester and Saracens and if we don't beat Leeds next week it will be very difficult to go through."
