Late changes on bench in Sharks' team to face Saracens

Sale Sharks Director of Rugby Kingsley Jones has named his side for Saturday evening’s Guinness Premiership game at Saracens.

Mark Cueto has failed a fitness test on his bad back and will miss tomorrow’s game against Saracens. Marika Vakacegu plays 14 and Oriol Ripol is on the bench in place of Marika. Kristian Ormsby and Chris Bell failed fitness tests on Saturday morning, and are replaced on the bench by Luke Abraham and Ed Styles.

Kingsley Jones, “The players are up for this game having had the weekend off last week. Saracens however deserve our full respect, they are top of the table and had eight straight Premiership wins before drawing at Worcester last weekend. We are looking forward to it and we hope to put on a good show in front of the television cameras.”

Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter admits Sale Sharks will be tough competition. Venter states, "They are a side who have talented players across the pitch and in Charlie Hodgson, they have a fly half and play maker who can turn games in an instant."
