Sharks aim for a win at Bath to remain in LV= Cup

The final round of the LV= Cup Pool stages sees Sale Sharks travel to The Recreation Ground for a must win match against Bath Rugby this Saturday 6th February.

After Sale Sharks 14 – 20 defeat against Northampton Saints last weekend, we sit third in Pool 1 with 6 points. But there is a glimmer of hope for the Sharks who could progress to the semi-finals as pool winners if they earn a victory over Bath, whilst needing help from Newport Gwent Dragons to beat Saracens, and Leicester Tigers must lose against Northampton Saints at Franklin's Gardens.

Whilst securing a win over Ospreys in Round 2, Bath have lost to Leicester Tigers and Saracens and they have no chance of getting to the semi final stages.

The Sharks simply must get a win this Saturday at Bath, kick off 2.15PM, and hope the Saints and Dragons triumph too, to retain their hopes of reaching the LV= Cup knock-out stages.
