Sharks train over 100 youngsters at Wilmslow Rugby Camp
Tuesday, November 3rd 2009
The Sale Sharks first team squad helped train over a hundred youngsters that took part in the three day Wilmslow Rugby Camp last week, organised by Sale Sharks Community Department.
One hundred and ten children, aged eight to fifteen years, enjoyed three days of expert coaching by Sale Shark team coaches, a Sale Sharks T-shirt, a match ticket for a Sharks home game, a question and answer session with the first team as well as training alongside the Sale Shark first team squad.
The Head Coach for the camp, Richard Spencer, was extremely pleased with the success of the Wilmslow Rugby Camp. “I’d like to thank Wilmslow Rugby Club for a great venue with excellent facilities.
Sale Sharks Rugby Camps are open to all children with all abilities. The kids all said the camp was fantastic and that they all learnt something new.
It’s great to see youngsters learning new tactics and improving in just three days. The coaches and I are already looking forward to the next rugby camp in February and coming back to Wilmslow again in the future for another successful camp.”
The next Sale Sharks rugby camp will take place at Altringham Grammar School from 16th – 18th February 2010. Book now to avoid disappointment at www.rugbycamps.com . For more information please email john.acheson@salesharks.com.
