Sharks Welcome Back Peel, Cueto, Thomas & Jones For Quins Clash

Sale Sharks Director of Rugby Kingsley Jones has selected his side for Sunday’s Heineken Cup game at Harlequins, kick off 12.45PM.

Sharks welcome back Dwayne Peel, Mark Cueto, Lee Thomas and Chris Jones but Captain Dean Schofield misses out with a shin injury and Kristian Ormsby has a knee injury.

Team: Nick Macleod, Mark Cueto, Mathew Tait, Lee Thomas, Ben Cohen, Charlie Hodgson (Captain), Dwayne Peel, Eifion Roberts, Neil Briggs, Jack Forster, James Gaskell, Sean Cox, Carl Fearns, David Seymour, Sisa Koyamaibole.

Replacements: Marc Jones, Gavin Kerr, Martin Halsall, Chris Jones, Luke Abraham, Richard Wigglesworth, David Bishop and Oriol Ripol.

Standby players: Lee Imiolek, Mahonri Schwalger, Chris Leck, Marika Vakacegu.

Kingsley Jones said, “We have been looking forward to this game after our home win over Cardiff Blues in October. It’s the first of three games against Quins in 19 days and I am sure they will be three physical and very tough encounters."

"Quins are improving every week and players like Easter and Care make a huge contribution, although I hear Care is suspended for this game. We are able to welcome back several players this week although my captain Dean Schofield is unavailable after picking up a shin injury last week.”
