Assistant Academy Manager

David played rugby at Altrincham Kersal and Altrincham Grammar School and represented Cheshire & North of England. He then signed for Leeds 'Tykes', where he combined playing with completing a degree in Geology.

David went on to join Sale Sharks for a season, to play in the Premiership U21 League, before playing senior rugby for Manchester and Nottingham in 2005. He won the County Championship with Lancashire and was selected for England Counties for their Canada and Argentina tours.

After his playing career, David joined Fylde as player coach and progressing to coach Lancashire and North of England U18.

David's passion to help the development of young players, has led to his completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management. He is also currently studying for the RFU Level 4 qualification.
