Quins have achieved a pair of bonus point wins against Wasps and London Welsh, whilst Sale Sharks recovered from their opening day troubles at Exeter and put on a battling performance at home to Saracens.
Sale Sharks will be looking to repeat their last away win in the Aviva Premiership since last December - at Gloucester on 21st April.
The Sharks' only win over Quins in any competition since New Year's Day 2010 was 21-17 at Edgeley Park on 8 May 2010, whilst Sale have not been victorious at the Twickenham Stoop in the Premiership since May 2008. Last season the sides met on the hottest October day in living memory, with the teams sharing twelve tries. The champions-elect won the day 48-41, but the visitors left with two bonus points.
Saturday's referee will be Tim Wigglesworth, handling his 51st Premiership game. Mr.Wigglesworth was in charge at the Sharks' pre-season game against Glasgow Warriors at Heywood Road. He will be assisted by Robin Goodliffe and Llyr ApGeraint-Roberts.
The game will not be televised live, but you can keep up with events at The Stoop, as they happen, on Sale Sharks Twitter. A considered report will appear on this website after 6 p.m. on Saturday.
