The coaching staff and players held a de-brief following the game and have been working hard in preparation for this weekends fixture.
Sharks suffered an 8-20 defeat to Leicester at the Salford City Stadium last October in a game which was their sixth successive defeat.
Leicester Tigers' only win in their last four games was 28-12 over London Welsh at Welford Road in the Aviva Premiership Rugby on 9 February. Tigers slipped up 27-32 at home to Saracens on Saturday evening but have not lost back to back encounters at Welford Road since October 2011.
The Sharks have won their last two away games in all competitions but have not won three in a row on the road in the same season since October 2006.
The Tigers have won their last six fixtures with the Sharks since Sale won 15-12 at Edgeley Park on 4 September 2009. The Sharks' only victory at Welford Road since November 2003 was 14-11 in the Premiership on 23 February 2008 when Sebastien Chabal scored a try in the final minutes.
Scrum Half Will Cliff signed a new deal at the club earlier in the week but is unavailable tomorrow due to an injury picked up in a freak training ground incident.
Will said : "I'm delighted to be staying - hopefully we can keep the majority of the squad and we'll be fighting tooth and nail to ensure we stay up.
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, "Will's had his best season at the club and he's done really well for us. He took an unfortunate knock in training but he's a local lad who never lets the team down and the fact he signed a new deal is brilliant for us."
