Signed in November 2011, Cillian Willis made 11 Premiership appearances in his debut season as a Sale player.

Cillian has won seven Ireland Under-21 caps early in his career.

After Heineken Cup holders Leinster offered him a short-term deal while the World Cup was on, the Sharks came calling and Cillian is back at the sharp end of club rugby.

Quite the turnaround for a man who was set to retire after leaving Connacht at the end of the 2010/11 season.
