
Bryan Redpath started his senior rugby career at Melrose and captained winning the league, a cup and Melrose sevens.
Redpath, nicknamed Brush, won 60 caps playing for Scotland, captaining the team on a number of occasions. His appearances included two Rugby World Cups in 1999 and 2003.
He also played for Racing club de Narbonne Méditerranée in France and Sale Sharks.
Redpath joined Sale Sharks in 2000 and played for the club until 2005,when he was forced to retire due to back surgery.
Having retired following the 2003 Rugby World Cup, Bryan became Backs Coach at Gloucester Rugby before being promoted to Head Coach on the departure of Dean Ryan in June 2009.
He resigned from Gloucester in April 2012 and moved up North, to become a key member of the coaching staff at Sale Sharks.
