Please find below a list of our most frequently asked questions regarding tickets for Sale Sharks matches. Should you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact ticket office on 08444 994 994 (option 4) between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri, and a member of our team will be pleased to assist.

1) How can I book Sale Sharks Tickets?

The easiest way is, without doubt, to book online. CLICK HERE TO BOOK ONLINE.

Alterntively, match tickets for home games can be purchased 24 hours a day via our Ticket Sales Hotline on 08444 994 994

Or you can buy in person at the ticket office - see below for our opening hours.

2) What time is the ticket office open?

Our ticket office at Edgeley Park is open from 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday.

On matchdays, we are open from 9am until 10 minutes after kick-off, and the ticket office will re-open for 45 minutes after the final whistle, or until the crowd has dispersed.

3) Is there a booking fee?

There is a £1 handling fee payable on each ticket.

4) Is there an additional charge for paying by credit/debit card?

No. There is no extra charge for payment by Credit/Debit Card - just the standard £1 per seat handling fee.

5) What methods of payment are accepted for ticket purchases?

We accept

  • Cheques (payable to Manchester Sale Rugby Club)
  • Cash
  • All major credit/debit cards (with the exception of American Express)
  • Visa Electron cards can only be used if swiped at the ticket office window.

6) When will my match tickets arrive?

Tickets are posted out approximately 10 days prior to each match, and then daily until 72 hours before the game. Any tickets purchased after this time will be held for collection from the ticket office on matchday. If you have not received your ticket 24 hours prior to the match, please contact the ticket office customer services on 08444 994 994 option 4 with your booking reference number.

7) Can I cancel my order?

Sorry, no. Once tickets are purchased we cannot offer refunds.

8) How can I purchase tickets for away matches?

Tickets for away games go on sale 4 weeks prior to the game, and are ALWAYS returned to the home club 2 weeks prior to matchday. Away tickets are only available by calling in person at the ticket office or calling 08444 994 994. Tickets for away games with high demand may be offered for priority booking for season ticket holders only, prior to any general sale.

9) What is my Sharks Supporter Number?

Your supporter number is your unique reference number which covers all of your bookings both online and via the ticket sales hotline. For season ticket holders it appears on the inside slip of your season ticket. When you purchase tickets online, it will be displayed on the login page. A member of our tickets sales team can give your supporter number when booking over the phone. Please keep a note of your supporter number to enable us to easily track any bookings or queries you have raised.

10) I have lost my password for e-tickets

There is a "forgotten my password" link on the login page of the Sale Sharks e-ticketing website. A reminder will be e-mailed through to you within 24 hours. Alternatively, please call 08444 994 994 (option 4) and be prepared to quote your Sharks supporter number, full address and D.O.B, and our ticket sales team can reactivate your account.

11) How can I update my personal details?

Personal details can now be updated by logging in to our new look e-ticketing system. To check a delivery address please view the 'update my details' section online.

12) Where is the ticket office situated?

The Edgeley Park Ticket Office is located in the car park underneath the Printerland.co.uk Stand, near the matchday supporters marquee. The Ticket Sales windows will be open on the slam until kick off and 45 minutes after the final whistle, and the ticket office reception is located to the right of these windows through the double doors. Pre-purchased ticket booths arealso located at the Ticket Sales windows on the slam.

13) Which games are my season tickets valid for?

Season tickets are valid for 17 games - one pre-season match, all 11 home Guinness Premiership matches, the 3 home pool games in the Heineken Cup and three further home games (yet to be agreed by RFU/PRL).

14) What are the ages for junior, under 22 year olds and senior tickets?

Junior Tickets:

Juniors must be under 16 years of age as at 1/9/09 for season tickets or on the date of the match for match tickets. Date of Birth must be provided at time of purchase.

Concession Tickets:

Under 22 tickets are available for supporters who are aged under 22 at 1/9/09.

Senior Citizens must be 60 years of age or over as at 1/9/09

15) Can I bring a baby to the ground?

"Baby in Arms" tickets are available for children under 2 years of age. These are free of charge and are only available by calling in person to the ticket office prior to a match. Babies entering the ground in this way will not receive an allocated seat, and as such the parents must be responsible for the childs safety at all times.

16) How can I purchase disabled tickets?

Purchasers of disabled tickets must provide written evidence of entitlement at the time of purchase and at the start of each subsequent season. Supporters requiring assistance to attend matches through a disability may buy a helper ticket at the concessionary rate, however this will need to be requested at the time of booking. Wheelcair users are entitled to one free carer ticket. All disabled and carer tickets need to be purchased directly through the ticket office on 08444 994 994 option 2.

17) How do I get one or renew my season ticket?

Just call the Ticket Office on 08444 994 994 or apply in person at the Ticket Office, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (not on match days).

18) What are the Season Ticket Terms and Conditions?

  • Juniors must be under 16 years of age as of 1/9/2009. Proof of Date of Birth must be provided at time of purchase.
  • Under 21 tickets are available to young people and students who are aged under 21 years as of 1/9/2009.
  • Senior Concession applies to persons over 60 years of age as of 1/9/2009.

Disabled Season Ticket holders must provide written evidence of entitlement at the time of purchase (letter from the DWP) and, for multi-season purchases, at the start of each season. Disabled Supporters requiring assistance to attend matches may purchase a Helper Ticket at the concessionary rate however this will need to be requested at the time of booking.
