Sale Jets start in Aviva ‘A’ League against familar foes

Pete Anglesea’s team open up against the North Easterners at Heywood Road (Kick Off 7.45 p.m.) looking for a repeat of last season, when the Jets won 35-0 at Kingston Park

Back from injury are props Alasdair Dickinson and Henry Thomas, who form a formidable front row with Tommy Taylor between them.  Tom Holmes captains from lock. Named on the right wing is Tom Harty (19) who played for England Under-18 Clubs & Schools against Ireland two seasons ago. Tom, ex Epsom College, is from Cobham RFC.
