It was a memorable night last Friday, as the Sharks victory over Connacht earned us a place in the Semi-Finals of the European Challenge Cup! There was plenty to cheer about aside from the fixture too, here’s a look back at the bits you might have missed…
Sharks LIVE Fans that couldn’t make it to the AJ Bell were treated to a special pre-match build up by the University of Salford ICZ Media Production Team. Their media set up were streaming LIVE from the ground with interviews, behind the scenes footage and more to get you fired up for the Quarter Final. It’s well worth a watch if you haven’t seen it!
Bryn Evans 100 Apps
The special occasion was even more significant for Bryn Evans, who made his 100th Appearance in Sale Colours on Friday night. A true servant to the club, and fitting that his 100th App was marked with a place in the Semi-Finals.
Walking Rugby takes centre stage!
Fans at the AJ Bell were treated to a slightly different half-time show as we had Walking Rugby on the pitch! Great to showcase one of the Sharks Community Trust’s most successful projects. Fancy getting involved? Find out more HERE.
Sharks in the Sharquee
The Sharks faithful in the dedicated fans marquee were given a BUMPER edition of pre-match entertainment on Friday. Andrei Ostrikov, Valery Morozov, Paolo Odogwu & Gus Warr were all on duty for Sharks selfies and autographs. PLUS, on stage with JB was Johnny Leota and Sammy Tuitupou, ahead of his retirement at the end of the season.

It’s a crucial fixture for both sides’ top 4 hopes as we enter a thrilling run-in to the end of 2018-19.
