Tom Curry Stars In England’s Calcutta Cup Win Over Scotland

Tom Curry was voted the Bollinger ‘Player Of The Match’ for England’s victory over Scotland during the 2020 Six Nations.

England sealed a narrow victory over Scotland, with the weather conditions taking it’s toll on the fixture and limiting the final score to 6-13 in England’s favour.

All news surrounding the fixture prior to kick-off was focussed on Eddie Jones’ team selection, in particular the makeup of the back row. However the combination of Lewis Ludlam, Sam Underhill and Tom Curry at 8 rose to the occasion, wreaking havoc at the breakdown and stunting any momentum that Scotland hoped to gain.

A late try from front-row replacement Ellis Genge sealed the win for England, claiming their first victory of the 2020 Six Nations.
