Here is what schools had to say about the delivery we offer and the impact it has within their school and on students:
Sharks Community Trust is an awesome charity organisation that provides inspirational rugby coaching programmes for students of all ages. Our primary school partners have been mightily impressed with their Sharks on Wheels programme and have raved about the impact it made on their pupils, our female PE teachers were blown away by Trust Coaches and Sale Sharks Women’s players India and Laura during the KS3 Girls Tackle Rugby lessons and commented how engaged all of the girls were. These sessions also increased playing numbers at our school club and local community rugby club, Portsunlight RUFC which has seen 7 of those girls now playing regularly at their local rugby club. Our Sports Leaders have found it hugely beneficial to work with Georgie, Emily and Daisy on the Trusts mental wellbeing and inclusion sports programmes, preparing them to deliver similar activities to younger students.

It is hard to bottle inspiration and the impact that people can have on young people, however the impact that Sharks Community Trust have had with their rugby programmes within Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School is tangible. The programmes are far more than just rugby they are bout developing self-confidence and self-belief, and that through hard work that anything is possible. The relationships that are fostered have been instrumental in our students development both on and off the pitch. Our students have really enjoyed being a part of the Sharks Rugby programmes and the success has permeated through the school. Next year we will have Girls Rugby Teams in Year 7, 8 ,9 and 10, something that has never been possible before. I can’t thank the team enough and it is a pleasure to work with them.
