Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Responsibility for driving new business opportunities aligned to the business plan and Clubs’ brand values including all inventory, building good relationships with potential prospects

• Explore initiatives outside of traditional routes to drive incremental revenue

• Lead the sales prospecting process and pipeline for sponsorship opportunities and all sponsorship contract renewal negotiations

• Expert on the sports sponsorship landscape and sponsorship trends

• Support the Sales & Marketing Director with the sponsorship strategy to drive long term business growth, cultivate a long-term sponsorship portfolio working collaboratively to ensure an integrated approach to business to achieve KPIs

• Collaboration with the Sale Executive to track YOY sales of seasonal and match-by-match hospitality v revenue target, reporting on hospitality acquisition and retention progress

• Collaboration with the Sale Executive to track and report on player sponsorship sales and revenue

• Working on the HubSpot platform, ensuring all deals are uploaded and tracked, meeting finance each week to ensure finances are accurately tracked and paid

• Reporting sales numbers each week in team meetings

• Represent Sales Sharks in the North West/Manchester business community through regular networking events

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential
• Min 5 years’ experience in a sales or new business role
• Understanding of sports sponsorship
• Experience with contract negotiations
• Excellent organisational and numeracy skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
