Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Sale Sharks (60%):
- Responsibility for Sale Sharks Women’s social media channels
- Content planning for Women’s comms, working with the marketing team to create a rolling 1-month schedule covering Social Media, CRM, Website, Campaigns, Tickets, Sponsorships
- Content scheduling of all Women’s social media content
- Tracking and analysis of Women’s content performance to present in marketing and social media meetings, taking learnings forward to improve performance
- Responsibility for responding to social media comments and DMs, and re-acting to topical/relevant themes to ensure Sharks Women is part of the conversation
- Support the Media and Content Exec with Women’s content creation from planning stage, pitching ideas, editing through to final output ensuring brand consistency across all production
- Create Women’s match day social media content including live match action updates for Women’s home and away games, in line with commercial regulations
- Social media and content trends research to help create and develop new ways to engage with our fanbase
Sale Sharks Foundation (40%):
- Content planning for Sale Sharks Foundation, working across the foundation to create a high level yearly communications plan and rolling 1-month schedule covering Social Media, Website, Collateral Design, Campaigns
- Lead on storytelling and the creation for of high-quality content for Sale Sharks Foundation to engage and grow our audience
- Content scheduling of Sale Sharks Foundation social media content, tailoring content for the different needs across the different platforms
- Tracking and analysis of Sale Sharks Foundation content performance to present to leadership group and monthly updates, taking learnings forward to improve performance
- Responsibility for responding to social media comments and DMs, and re-acting to topical/relevant themes to ensure Sale Sharks Foundation is part of the conversation
- Support the Foundation departments (Community Inclusion, Education & Grassroots) with content creation from planning stage, ideas, editing through to final output ensuring brand consistency across all production
- Create awareness of Sale Sharks Foundation activities through social media content including linking with recognised national days, campaigns, launch events and commercial activity.
- Create engaging collateral such as flyers and brochures, where needed to support the communication of programmes and offers
- Social media and content trends research to help create and develop new ways to engage with our various Charitable audience including, schools, Rugby Clubs, Parents and Partners
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential
- Marketing/Media/Sports Graduate – 2 years’ experience either within an agency team, an elite sports club or within a brand environment
- Organic social media management experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to prioritise
- Adobe Creative Suite skills
Desirable
- Experience with social media planning/scheduling platforms
