‘Tackle It’ aims to tackle and address the stigma that surrounds mental health and will encourage 12-18-year olds to engage in conversation in order to help them lead a happier and healthier lifestyle. Sale Sharks Foundation coaches will be delivering 12-week programmes in schools within the Wirral area.

Tackle Your Emotions:

Tackle Your Emotions is a six-week character education programme that is delivered to special educational needs and additional educational needs students that is designed to improve students decisions making within emotional situations. The programme uses Rugby’s’ core values to promote positive decisions making in situations, which would usually prove challenging due to their overwhelming emotions. Each week of the programme is delivered over two, one hour sessions, one of which is based in the classroom and one of which is focused around physical activity.
