Combative centre Sam Hill joined Sale Sharks in 2020 on a two-year deal after spending a decade at Exeter Chiefs.
Known for his physicality and his direct, abrasive style of play, Sam made 150 appearances for Exeter before making the switch to the AJ Bell.
Sam was fast tracked into the Exeter ranks from their academy alongside a crop of current England internationals, including Henry Slade and Jack Nowell.
He was initially sent on loan to Cornish Pirates, where he honed his skills over two seasons.
Sam was then selected for England for the 2013 World Rugby U20 Championships which kick-started his club career.
He received his first call up for the senior England squad in January 2016 for the Six Nations, but is still waiting for his international debut.
When joining Sale in 2020, he said: "Sale are a club with huge ambition and a lot of quality in their squad. I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead.
"I'm at a point in my career where I feel the time is right for a change of scenery.”
